Whether we are gathering for our monthly meetings, hosting community events, fundraising, outreach, participating in local parades, our goal remains the same: to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others through charity and community service.
Driving Hope: Fundraising for Shriners Children’s Transportation
One of our most vital initiatives is supporting the Shriners Children’s Transportation Fund. We believe that a child’s access to world-class medical treatment should never be limited by their ability to get to the hospital.
For many families the road to specialized pediatric care is long and difficult. Through our dedicated fundraising efforts, the LA Shrine Club helps cover the costs of:
- Fuel and maintenance for our specialized transport vans.
- Airfare and travel expenses for patients and their families traveling long distances.
- Ensuring “Roadrunners” (our volunteer drivers) have the resources needed to get children to their appointments safely and on time.
Every donation made through our club directly ensures that a child in need can reach the care they deserve at Shriners Children’s Hospital™ Southern California and beyond.
